Oxford Inn Menu, 2016
Inside a long-vacant building in my neighborhood (most recently home to the Liquor Shack), I found a hand-written menu for the Oxford Inn, a restaurant located just a block west until it burned down in the early 2000s. Depending on who you ask, the Oxford Inn was either a good neighborhood hangout, or a hive of scum and villainy.
I posted the full menu, and a different artist selected one of each of the 25 menu items to recreate. Once exhibited, each artwork was sold for the listed price from the menu.
